Cloud Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert across multiple engagements to guide customers, and partner OEMs to define and deliver successful customer solutions.

• Engage and develop a relationship with customers to gain mindshare.
• Identify key problem statements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Effectively articulate the value proposition of the proposed solutions to customers
• Do customer presentations and whiteboard sessions to present solutions to customers.
• Evangelize cloud technologies with customers.
• Deliver customer demonstrations and POCs as required.
• Coordinate with the deployment team of the partner OEM for the delivery of solutions as per customer expectation.

Requirements

• AWS solutions Architect Certification - Optional

• A good blend of on-premises Data center (Esp SAN, Data protection, Hyper converged infrastructure, virtualization) and public cloud technology skills

• Experience architecting or deploying Cloud solutions.

• A good knowledge in / or worked on - Rest API integration / Kubernetes & Containers / Terraform Scripts / Ticketing Tools / Visibility Tools (Optional).

• Strong presentation skills.

• Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.

• Self-motivated and flexible

• Travel as required

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to effectively multitask and be able to handle high volume of requests.
