SEO Team Lead

The SEO Team Lead will play a crucial role in overseeing and implementing SEO strategies to drive organic growth for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams, optimising websites for search engines, and ensuring consistent performance improvements across campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy Development:

• Create and implement comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to client goals.
  
• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience targeting.
  
• Stay updated with algorithm changes, trends, and best practices.

Team Leadership:

• Manage, mentor, and inspire the SEO team to achieve excellence.
  
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely project delivery.
  
• Conduct regular training sessions to upskill the team.

Performance Monitoring:

• Analyse website traffic, ranking data, and key performance metrics.
  
• Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to report on campaign performance.
  
• Identify gaps and opportunities to optimize organic performance.

Technical SEO:

• Oversee website audits and resolve technical SEO issues, such as crawl errors, site speed, and mobile usability.
  
• Collaborate with developers and designers to implement SEO recommendations.

Content Optimization:

• Work with the content team to ensure on-page SEO optimization, including meta tags, headers, and content structure.
  
• Develop and manage content calendars focused on SEO goals.

Client Collaboration:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for SEO-related client queries.
  
• Present reports and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner.
  
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  

Requirements Key Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in SEO, with at least 2 years in a team lead or managerial role.
  
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog).
  
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects.
  
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
