The POS Executive for Retail Sales plays a crucial role in managing and analysing data to support the retail sales operations. This role involves collecting, processing, and presenting data related to sales performance, customer trends, and operational efficiency. The MIS Executive contributes to informed decision-making processes by providing accurate and insightful reports and analysis.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Data Management:
- Collect and compile sales data from various retail channels, including in-store and online transactions.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of sales data by reconciling discrepancies.
Sales Performance Analysis:
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, best-selling products, and customer preferences.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on sales performance for different product categories and store locations.
Customer Insights:
- Analyse customer data to identify purchasing patterns, demographics, and preferences.
- Provide recommendations based on customer insights to enhance the customer experience.
Operational Efficiency:
- Collaborate with store managers and staff to identify areas for operational improvement.
- Provide data-driven insights to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Reporting and Visualisation:
- Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports using tools like Excel and Bi.
- Present data and analysis to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Data Integrity and Security:
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of all data collected and managed.
- Implement measures to protect sensitive customer and business information.
Process Automation:
- Identify opportunities to automate routine data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to provide data support for
