Nextuple - Senior Software Lead - Sterling OMS Customization Project (7-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the technical development team on Sterling OMS customization projects.

- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of modules with minimal supervision.

- Collaborate with solution architects to define and implement technical solutions.

- Guide the team in design, code, and other deliverables, ensuring quality and accuracy.

- Deep functional knowledge of Order Management modules : GIV, IV, Payments, Order Orchestration, Returns, Call Center Solution, Store Engagement Solution, etc.

- Proficient in JAVA, XML parsing, and SQL.

- Expertise in packaging and deploying Sterling in CoC and on-premise environments.

- Proficient in installation, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Sterling OMS projects.

- Assist solution architects and team leads in developing project estimates and schedules.

- Mentor and train junior engineers.

- Experience working with agile methodologies and tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Jira.

- Assist project managers with change management activities.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency through automation.

- Develop best practices, technical artifacts, and reusable components to reduce project TCO.

- Develop and implement tools and standard solutions.

- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies and time zones.

Essential Qualifications :

- 7+ years of proven development experience on IBM Sterling OMS.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

- Strong experience with XMLs, XSLs, and JSON.

- In-depth knowledge of IBM CoC.

- Expertise in Java programming language and its built-in packages.

- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desirable Skills :

- IBM Developer Badges/Certifications.

- Experience developing enterprise-scale microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

- Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
