OTT QA Lead

Create and execute test plans for new products and features and ensure adequate
test coverage.
Record all test results and provide a high-level summary of test coverage and results.
Troubleshoot issues down to the root cause and provide detailed bug reports.
Test compatibility with audio / video devices, Wi-Fi routers, and audio / video
streaming file types.
Own and drive to completion features, products, and devices.
Work on cross functional teams with QA, hardware, and firmware development
teams.
Work directly with external partners such as SoC vendors and partner device
manufacturers.

Qualifications:

7-10 years of hands-on experience is required.
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
5+ years of experience writing and executing QA test plans for consumer electronics
products.
Experience with smart TVs, consumer audio/video devices, set-top boxes, and TV
remote controllers.
Experience with audio/video streaming and audio/video codecs (HLS, MP4, MKV,
smooth streaming, etc., ...)
Experience with wired and wireless home networking.
Experience with Python or equivalent language in developing automated tests to
validate products.
Experience formulating test strategy, designing test cases and modifying/executing
