UX Designer

Position Summary:

We are looking for a user-experience (UX) designer able to understand our business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into User persona, sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes. The UX designer will also be expected to design the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing. The UX designer should have understanding of interaction design principles and have designed projects for Strategic frameworks and risk management platforms.

Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate the team ideas by researching conceiving, sketching, and prototyping for digital products.
2. Translate concepts inputs to design and deliver user persona, user journeys, wireframes and high-fidelity mock-ups that are optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces and lead to intuitive user experiences.
3. Read inputs and identify design problems to devise their elegant solutions.
4. Take a user-centered design approach and follow brand guidelines to rapidly create, test and iterate your designs.
5. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
6. Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.
7. Maintain UX prominent approach in all activities.
8. Produce and export high quality assets, guidelines and supporting documents for development team.
9. Maintain organizational and team ethics and ensure to balance a happy and productive work environment within the team.
10. Combine UX thinking with design execution, to produce usable and intuitive user interfaces.

Qualifications:

1. Candidate should have 6 + years of relevant experience
2. Educational qualification BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Preferred Skills Experience:

• Six or more years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
• Expertise in standard software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, MS Office, etc. is a must. Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc. will be a plus.
• UX design certification, design diploma, design tool certification or related education will be preferred.
• Ability to work with large team, stakeholders and clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), wireframing, prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to team.
• A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
• Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
• Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
• Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry s latest trends and technologies.
