Senior Java Developer

Job Title: Senior Java Developer (5+ years experience)
Location: Chennai

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications, with a focus on microservices and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement scalable, high-performance applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for various services.
• Implement robust, reusable, and testable code following design patterns and best coding practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with teams for code reviews and maintain a high level of code quality.
• Work with databases like SQL to implement CRUD operations.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and incorporate improvements into the project.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Microservices Architecture and Spring Boot framework.
• Proficiency in RESTful Web Services and API development.
• Solid experience with SQL and database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and best practices.
• Proficient in version control systems such as Git.
• Experience in building and maintaining scalable and high-performance systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools is a plus.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
