Job Summary:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for for driving the retail sales & building customer relationships of Nutraceutical products in the assigned territory. The candidate will develop and execute strategic sales plans, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure maximum retail distribution and visibility for the companys products. This role is primarily involves identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and closing sales deals. ideal for an energetic, self-driven individual with proven sales experience in Nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG sectors, and a strong understanding of retail and offline channels.
Role & responsibilities
1. Achieve Sales Targets:
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for nutraceutical products.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize product penetration.
2. Territory Management:
- Manage the assigned territory to maximize sales and market share.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand retail presence in the region.
- Regularly visit retail outlets, distributors, and healthcare stores to build relationships and
gather feedback.
3. Retail & Distributor Engagement:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key accounts.
- Negotiate contracts, promotional activities, and trade terms to ensure optimal product
placement and visibility.
4. Market & Competitor Analysis:
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities in the territory.
- Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions, competitor analysis, and
product performance.
5. Promotional Activities:
- Plan and execute in-store promotions, product demonstrations, and educational initiatives to drive product awareness.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for effective product branding and positioning.
6. Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records.
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to management.
- Track and analyse sales data to measure performance and plan future strategies.
7. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the supply chain and distribution team to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
- Provide guidance and training to junior sales staff, as required.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and meet sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
