ETL Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance (3-12 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Python Selenium and ETL Tester to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing using Selenium with Python, as well as experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our data-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Automated Testing :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python and Selenium.

- Collaborate with developers to understand application functionality and testing requirements.

ETL Testing :

- Validate ETL processes by ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

- Create and execute test cases for ETL workflows, data transformations, and data loads.

Test Planning and Strategy :

- Participate in test planning and design activities to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

Defect Management :

- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate defect management tools.

- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and validate fixes.

Performance Testing :

- Conduct performance and load testing for ETL processes and web applications as needed.

Continuous Improvement :

- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and frameworks.

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new testing tools.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience in automated testing using Selenium with Python.

- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and experience with ETL testing.

- Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.

- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
