Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance (3-5 yrs)

Role : Test Automation Engineer

Location : Bangalore

Requirements & Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MCA or equivalent practical experience

- 3+ years of experience in functional automation testing and test management with full development lifecycle experience, including designing, developing, and implementing test strategy, test plans, test processes, test scenarios, test cases

- Experience in software quality testing of web client/server and web services applications using automation test tools

- Working experience of testing tools like selenium, rest assured, cucumber, cypress, penetration test tools

- Experience in System Integration testing, Regression testing, Performance testing, Load testing, Penetration Testing and User acceptance testing

- Experience in implementing different automation development efforts in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall development environments

- Experience in creating Test Plans, Test Scripts, Test Scenarios and Test Reports using High Level and Detailed Design and/or using the requirement and its acceptance criteria.

- Experience in creating requirement traceability matrix (RTM), and software quality assurance metrics like test execution status, defect report and daily/weekly status reports and release documents

- Possessing good understanding of risk management, security architecture, common design flaws/weaknesses and vulnerability analysis

- Provide Information security solution and design advice and counsel to portfolio personnel, project teams and the Business ensuring proper balance of business needs, risk, and cost

- Knowledge of working in DevSecOps environment

- Understanding of java, java script, python, SQL, xml, html, soap, rest, json

- Understanding of identity and access management technologies, saml, oauth, pki management, web sso, tsl, ssl, federated identity

- Understanding of cloud platform like azure, AWS (amazon web services)

- Has done test management and automation in jira

- Specialties include SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) process, System architecture, Access Management, Configuration management, Security assessment, Vulnerability management, Change Management, Incident Management, Business continuity planning and Disaster recovery planning
