Associate Director/Director - Product
Job responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of UPI merchant acquiring products, from conceptualization to implementation and performance evaluation.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and features by prioritizing and managing project scope effectively.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and build innovative UPI acquiring solutions that resonate with customers.
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies in partnership with Product Marketing.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to uncover opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
- Design Cost-Volume-Profit (CVP)-based solutions to support the launch and scalability of the merchant acquiring business.
- Propose and implement creative ideas to enhance NPST UPI merchant acquiring platform with value-added features.
- Conduct detailed data analysis to inform product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and pricing strategies.
- Work closely with Technology, Project management, Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams to create cohesive and customer-focused strategies.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders, including merchants and other business partners, to achieve growth objectives.
- Continuously refine product offerings to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Scope and define new product ideas by leveraging internal technologies and external vendor partnerships.
- Deliver innovative, scalable solutions to enhance the payments business.
- Regularly update management on project progress, risks, issues, and key performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with internal reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Consistently deliver projects that achieve measurable success and contribute to the company's overall growth.
What are we looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, IT, Business, or Computer Science.
- An MBA or an advanced degree in a related discipline is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of payment regulatory norms and UPI payment flows.
- In-depth understanding of the overall payment ecosystem is mandatory.
- Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience working in cross-functional Agile teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Exceptional analytical abilities to translate complex business requirements into actionable, innovative product features.
- Outstanding communication skills to interact with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
- Demonstrated history of successfully delivering high-quality products within defined timelines and budget constraints.
- Ability to excel in fast-paced, ever-changing environments while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with fintech compliance and regulatory requirements is a strong advantage.
- Prior experience in merchant acquiring systems, API integrations, or payment gateway solutions is highly valued.
- Solid technical foundation with an understanding of software development and web technologies; hands-on experience is a plus.
- This combination of skills and expertise will ensure success in managing and driving innovative payment solutions in a competitive fintech landscape
