Job Description

Overseeing the maintenance of hospital buildings, grounds, and equipment. This includes HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building upkeep in coordination with the Electrical department.
Ensuring that non-medical equipment is in good working condition.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
Assess the condition of structures and fixtures and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
Prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and impact on operations.
Conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.
Managing the maintenance budget and forecasting costs.
Co-ordinate with Admin/VP Operations for negotiating with vendors and service providers.
Developing and implementing emergency response plans for maintenance- related issues.
Coordinating with other departments during emergencies to minimize disruption.
Be available on-call to respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular working hours.
Liason with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance services.
Establishing and overseeing a preventive maintenance program.
Managing maintenance supplies and equipment inventory.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and compliance documentation.
Reporting on maintenance performance metrics regularly to Admin/VPO.
Implementing energy-saving measures and sustainability initiatives.
Coordinating maintenance activities with other departments.
Managing renovation and construction projects within the hospital.
Plan and schedule regular visits to each branch to perform the maintenance activities.
Addressing maintenance issues of CMD House, staff quarters, Eagleton, Farm & NSO.
Oversee all maintenance activities related to civil, aluminum, carpentry and painting. It involves planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance tasks to ensure that all facilities and equipment are in working condition.
