L2 Network Engineer-3 To 6 years-Netcon-Delhi

Role & responsibilities

• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP).
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco (or similar) network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Proficiency in routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
• Familiarity with VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL, MPLS) and firewalls.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and performance management.
• Certifications: Cisco CCNA or equivalent (CCNP preferred).
• Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues and identify problems in LAN/WAN environments.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with team members, vendors, and clients.
• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
