Network Administrator L3 GPON

Required Skillset:

• Expertise in Configuring and troubleshooting Optical line termination (OLT), ONT (Optical Network Terminal), / ONU (Optical Network Unit) \
• Configuration and troubleshooting of L2&L3 Network, VLAN, and Port Configuration
• Configuring and troubleshooting LAN WAN and Wireless Network
• Understanding is Routing Protocols OSPF, BGP Switching Trucking VTP
• Networking domain knowledge including TCP/IP protocols
• Experience resolving system crashes and hardware related issues
• Experience in Tejas and Nokia GPON Products
• Experience Tejas EMS and Nokia AMS.
• Knowledge on OTDR, LSPM, Optical Power Meter Measurement

Certifications:

CCNA Mandatory and CCNP Certification will be an added advantage

Roles & Responsibility:

• Work as a Subject Matter Expert
• 24 x 7 network monitoring for fault detection and performance issues
• Responsible for Meeting SLA as per RFP.
• Key role In Addressing Multiple services (PPP) and QOS Related issues.
• Restoration of fault by coordinating with respective stakeholders
• Day to Day Network monitoring and fault management for GPON network
• Supports new services and System into Network Operations.
• Supports Network, Problems, Change and Request Fulfilment.
• Strong focus on Continuous Service Improvement
• Interface directly with Team/vendors during incidents, problems and changes implementation or resolution.
• Strong communication and interface skills to other functional areas.
• To potentially work within the NOC to resolve incidents can or cannot be resolved remotely.
• Identifying Bugs/Critical issues and simulate in Test lab, based on output to be taken up with OEM.
• Coordinating with OSS/BSS/NSO Teams on mismatch issues between EMS and OSS Console/NNNMI and fix on Priority to have Smooth Operations.
