Software Engineer - Red Hat/OpenStack (5-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific CI/CD requirements.

- Automate and streamline deployment and release processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.

- Manage and monitor CI/CD tools and platforms to ensure high availability and performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline issues and optimize workflows for speed and reliability.

- Provide guidance and technical support to customer teams in CI/CD best practices and tool usage.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and operations, to improve the CI/CD process.

- Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard customer workloads and data.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to CI/CD and DevOps practices.

- Prepare and maintain documentation for CI/CD processes and procedures.

- Participate in on-call support and incident response, as needed.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Flexible to work in a 24/7 support environment.

- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines for customer workloads.

- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and platforms (i.e., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI, CircleCI).

- Strong scripting and automation skills (i.e., Bash, Python, Shell).

- Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (i.e., Terraform, Ansible).

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or other collaborative development environments.

- Security-conscious mindset with knowledge of CI/CD security best practices.
