Mainframe Developer

Company: Nerdmine Pvt. Ltd. (Client: Infosys)

Location: Bangalore (Primary), Pune/Chennai (Secondary)

Looking for Immediate Joiner or up to 45 Days Notice period

Experience Required:

• Total Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience (Senior: 5 to 10 years; Advanced: 10+ years)
• Relevant Experience: 5+ years in Mainframe development with PL/1 programming

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience (3+ years) in PL/1 programming.
• Expertise in COBOL, JCL, and good exposure to DB2 databases.
• Flexibility to work on both development and maintenance projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile process methodologies.
• Provide solutions, write code, perform testing, and support deployment.

Mandatory Skills:

• PL/1 programming (3+ years)
• COBOL
• DB2
• JCL

Desired Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in corporate banking domain would be advantageous.
• Flexibility and adaptability in handling complex systems.
