Project Head (Regulatory)

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for obtaining the requisite project approvals & licenses from government authorities such as municipal corporations, RERA, pollution control boards etc in coordination with the respective consultants.
• Renewal of all necessary certifications and ensuring continuous validity of the same throughout the project life cycle.
• Client interaction for ensuring a smooth project handover process is completed to the society body.
• Project close out and the necessary documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

The Project Head (Regulatory) will be responsible for overseeing all project compliances throughout the entire lifecycle of high-value real estate projects. This role ensures that projects are updated and maintained from all regulatory and legal aspects. The position is responsible for communicating and maintaining relations with government officers, consultants, company directors and clients.

Qualification

• Diploma/Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience

• At least 12 years of experience in project regulatory & compliance within the real estate and construction industry.
• Extensive experience in obtaining & coordinating approvals for projects with respect to RERA, Corporation & other necessary regulatory authorities.

Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to work and coordinate with diverse teams.
• Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to government officers, clients, and consultants,
• Excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
