Assistant Manager- Finance

Role Overview:
The Assistant Manager Finance professional will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of NEP India Pvt Ltd. The role involves managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring GST and taxation compliance, and assisting in financial reporting. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring compliance with GST laws and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support the finance team in income tax and TDS calculations, payments, and return filings.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for financial audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Support financial data analysis for management decision-making.
• Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com, BBA Finance, or equivalent).
• Professional qualifications (e.g., CA-Inter, CMA-Inter) will be an advantage.
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, or finance roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
