Safety Supervisor

Job Purpose:

• To implement full proof safety policy for ensuring the safety & security of labours.
• To observe all moveable & immoveable assets of the Company for safety purpose at Site.
• To implement proper safety measures for protecting labour from accident & any other damage.
• To take care of housekeeping of labour camp & Site.
• To prepare all the necessary register at site for e.g. accident register etc. and keep the record of the same
• To keep track of all the labour at site by filling form and collecting necessary documents from them.
• Take care of First-Aid of all labours.
• To issue safety material to labour and keep the record of the same.
• On a day to day basis supervise that the every labour wears a safety helmet, Safety Belt, Shoes, Jacket etc. (Personal Protection Equipment).
• Train up every labour pertaining to implementation & maintaining proper & updated safety & security measures.
• To maintain & keep record of all safety related formats of client & office.
• To co-ordinate with site Engineers/ Supervisors for deployment of safety personnel at sites
• To co-ordinate with Government agencies regarding labour matters as & when necessary.
• To follow all the safety rules & policies.
• To ensure proper stacking of materials
• On day to day supervise and check labour camps lightings, cleaning, and housekeeping. To ensure that labours are taking proper safety precautions of their children.
• If the labours make any type of mess after drinking alcohol then safety officer has to go there and solve the problem no matter how late it is.
• If labor camp is far from the site or across the road then to ensure that there is sufficient lighting arrangement to avoid any accident at night.
• To check cleaning of net on weekly basis
• If any useful material found in the net during its checking / cleaning then to submit that material to the store keeper.
• To issue ID card to the labours at the time of his joining
• To collect labour ID card from the labour at the time of leaving site
• To inform about the debit towards safety material to Supervisor from time to time.
• To ensure timely installation of net horizontally and vertically and to take proper care at the time of installation.
• To use ERP system
• To spread positivity among the labours to increase their productivity.
• To suggest new ideas, policies to the company for better welfare of labours / staff maintaining cost effectiveness.
• To create and maintain healthy working relationship with Client.
