Wordpress Web Developer

Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and dynamic websites using WordPress.

- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, ensuring high performance and scalability.

- Convert PSD, Figma, or other design files into fully functional WordPress themes.

- Handle both frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend (PHP, MySQL) development tasks.

- Optimize websites for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO performance.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality projects on time.

- Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure cutting-edge solutions.

- Provide technical support and maintenance for existing WordPress websites.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.

- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks/libraries like jQuery, React, or Vue.js.

- Familiarity with WooCommerce development.

- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG).

- Experience with hosting environments like cPanel, WP Engine, or AWS.
