108 ideaspace is a full-service Digital Consulting firm, specializing in Web development, CRM, and Systems Integration. The firm is looking to add a Senior WordPress developer to its established team to work in their India location.

As a Senior Developer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex, creative and innovative Wordpress/PHP based websites integrated with CRM/AMS for the clients of 108 ideaspace. You will build customized plugins, themes and will be responsible to get multiple systems talking by building integrations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience working in a remote environment
• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress plugins, themes, and custom solutions.
• Build integrations to enable communication between multiple systems (e.g., CRMs, AMSs etc.).
• Multitasking skills, experience of working on multiple projects
• Great problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead a small team towards desired goals
• Technology experience: PHP, MySQL, WordPress, Twig, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery, Linux or Windows environment
• Knowledge of Elementor, Thrive or a similar page builder
• Knowledge of WooCommerce
• Solid knowledge of OOP, Rest APIs
• Experience integrating cloud-based applications using the API will be an Asset (Salesforce, Pardot, Infusionsoft, Active Campaign, MS Dynamics etc)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements, ask questions and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Build custom WordPress themes, plugins, widgets, shortcodes and templates from scratch using PHP, Twig and WordPress block editor.
• Work on core PHP or a relevant framework to build portals, websites and web applications.
• Build a user-friendly backend so the administrators can themselves manage the content on the website.
• Customize the website to harden the security of the site.
• Enhance the performance of the website using caching, CDN etc.
• Prepare technical and user documentation.
• Follow 108 development guidelines; conduct peer code reviews, built in basic SEO during development.
• Track and manage time and effort spent on each project and activity using 108 project management tools and systems.
• Development, debugging, and maintenance of existing and new WordPress websites.
