Senior Developer - Veeva (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

As a Veeva Senior Developer, you will contribute to the development, customization, and support of Veeva Vault and CRM solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance business workflows, ensure compliance, and drive system optimization.

This role requires a strong mix of technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and collaborative skills to deliver scalable solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Veeva Configuration & Customization :

- Design and implement Veeva Vault configurations including roles, user security, lifecycle management, entry actions, and approval workflows.

- Create and maintain email templates, notifications, and compliance workflows.

2. Development & Integration :

- Develop and customize solutions using VQL, Java, and APIs.

- Integrate Veeva Vault with third-party tools and applications using REST/SOAP APIs.

- Ensure seamless data migration and synchronization between systems.

3. Scripting & Automation :

- Write and optimize Unix/Windows shell scripts for automation and performance enhancement.

- Develop and implement custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using VQL and SQL.

4. System Administration :

- Perform Veeva Vault server administration and troubleshoot system issues.

- Monitor and manage Veeva jobs, task queues, and scheduled processes.

- Maintain and support Documentum systems to ensure critical business processes are uninterrupted.

5. Collaboration & Leadership :

- Collaborate with business teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Lead technical discussions, provide expertise, and resolve complex issues during project lifecycles.

Required Skills :

Veeva Platform :

- Extensive experience with Veeva Vault and CRM configuration, including lifecycle and workflow management.

- Expertise in configuring security settings, roles, and approval workflows.

Programming & Scripting :

- Proficiency in Java, VQL, and SQL for building scalable solutions.

- Strong skills in Unix/Windows shell scripting for automation and optimization.

System Integration :

- Hands-on experience with integrating Veeva Vault using REST/SOAP APIs.

- Knowledge of ETL tools for data migration and transformation.

Analytics & Reporting :

- Ability to create advanced custom reports and dashboards for business insights.

- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

Document Management Systems :

- Experience in maintaining and enhancing Documentum systems or similar document management platforms.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Leadership and team collaboration experience.

Additional Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Understanding of regulatory compliance and validation requirements in the life sciences domain
