AWS DevOps Engineer - IT Infrastructure Automation (5-9 yrs)

Role : AWS DevOps Engineer.

Experience : 5 to 9 years.

Key Responsibilities :

Infrastructure Automation :

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

- Manage and optimize AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).

- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) principles to ensure consistency and reproducibility.

CI/CD Pipeline :

- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

- Automate build, test, and deployment processes.

- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.

Monitoring and Logging :

- Set up monitoring and logging solutions (CloudWatch, ELK Stack) to track system health and performance.

- Analyze logs and metrics to identify and resolve issues proactively.

Security :

- Implement security best practices, including IAM, security groups, and access controls.

- Stay up-to-date with security vulnerabilities and implement necessary patches and updates.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide DevOps solutions.

- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth system operations.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.)

- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)

- Expertise in configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI)

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Understanding of cloud security principles and practices Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack) Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
