Test Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing (3-7 yrs)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute manual test cases to validate software functionality.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools (e. g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing across different platforms.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
• Work closely with development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure quality at every stage.
• Maintain and improve test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Generate detailed test reports and provide insights for quality improvements.

• 3-4 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).
• Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git and Jenkins.
• Understanding of SQL and databases for test data validation.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e. g., Browser Stack, Sauce Labs) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience in BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience in Mobile Testing (iOS & Android).
