Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering & Documentation:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements for trading platforms, mobile apps, and back-office systems.

- Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and Use Cases tailored to the stock broking industry.

System Analysis & Design:

- Analyze trading workflows, order management systems, and market data integrations to.

- Define and design solutions for order placement, trade execution, settlement, and reconciliation processes.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure solutions align with SEBI regulations, KYC/AML requirements, and other industry-specific compliance standards.

- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory changes and their impact on processes and systems.

Process Improvement & Optimization:

- Identify inefficiencies in customer onboarding, risk management, and transaction processing.

- Develop strategies to improve system performance, reduce turnaround time, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Stakeholder Management:

- Act as a bridge between business teams, IT, and external vendors to ensure seamless communication and project execution.

- Conduct workshops and presentations for stakeholders to clarify requirements and obtain approvals.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

- Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, validate functionalities, and ensure bug-free implementations.

- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide sign-offs for system releases.

Market & Technology Trends:

- Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies in the stock broking domain.

- Recommend innovative solutions like algorithmic trading, robo-advisory, and advanced analytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Information Technology.

- A Master's degree or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the stock broking domain or financial services industry.

- Hands-on experience with trading platforms, order management systems, and market data integration.

Domain Knowledge:

- In-depth understanding of the trading lifecycle, stock exchanges, clearing houses, and settlement processes.

- Familiarity with equity, derivatives, mutual funds, IPOs, and other financial instruments.

Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of APIs, FIX protocols, and trading platform integration.

- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and SQL.
