Job Description
We are seeking a Database Administrator with a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and maintaining databases, ensuring high availability, and working with various database technologies.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented individual who is proficient in MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Linux. The candidate should have a strong understanding of high availability environments and be able to manage and maintain these systems effectively. The preferred candidate will have experience with MySQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
- Manage and maintain all databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Work with various database technologies such as MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Linux.
- Ensure all database systems meet business and performance requirements.
- Monitor and maintain system health and security.
- Provide end-to-end technical support and problem resolution.
- Schedule and perform regular server maintenance.
- Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Create automation for repeating database tasks.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Linux.
- Experience with high availability environments.
- Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools.
- Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards.
- Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.
- PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
