Manager - Material Management

1. JOB PURPOSE

• Plan net requirement of Direct Input Materials (BB Div) based on N6M production & Rolling plan for NEI plants (Jaipur, Savli)
• Ensure material availability to support the production schedule by timey release of Planning for ordering process & ensuring supplier OTIF.
• Manage inventory levels, support material/product level revisions by interacting/coordinating with stake holders.

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Run MRP and monitor Supply from RM suppliers
• Generate timely rolling requirements based on opening inventory, inventory norms, stock across units, etc.
• Proactively communicate supply issues to Operations and Supply planner for input to demand / supply balancing considerations
• Highlight items that are critical/low in stock.
• Interaction with internal customers (BB/BB Materials team) for prioritizing actions
• Monitoring RM Inventory DOC
• Determine and establish optimal inventory norms and update periodically, based on forecast, demand variation, and material lead times.

3. Relevant and total years of Experience

5~6 years of total experience in SCM/Procurement with at least 3 years in Planning.

4. Functional Skills

• Knowledge of Procurement
• Procurement Planning & SAP
• Automotive industry experience & Supplier interaction
