We have an urgent requirement of EHS Manager for our manufacturing plant - Virar

Position - Assistant Manager EHS

Qualification & Experience (no of years)

• Highest Qualification:
  Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety
  
  
• Total Experience:

Min. 8-10 years of .experience in any manufacturing company

KRA / Deliverables of the position

• Manage and implementation of safety programs, compliance plans, and initiatives.
• Participate in the investigation of incidents, near misses and property damage incidents & report preparation along with CAPA.
• Coordinate & impart appropriate EHS training to all employees and conduct training effectiveness assessments along with training dept..
• Maintain internal and regulatory reporting & data collection but not limited to air, storm water and surface water discharge.
• Keep abreast of any safety and environmental law or regulation changes that impact the organization and participate in manufacturing meetings to discuss workplace safety and regulatory concerns.
• Prepare Tool-box talk materials on relevant topics and conduct Tool box meetings.
• Conduct frequent internal audits on EHS with department/area owners, record all the findings and follow-up for their Corrective & Preventive action plan.
• To monitor and maintain the performance of Effluent Treatment Plant with Zero Liquid Discharge system.
• Design & implement a robust work permit system with proper safety precaution and support to the New project.
• Creating behavior-based safety culture at the site.
• Support all stakeholders in preparing various registers such as HIRA with control hierarchy, Impact-aspect register, ERA, accident register, etc
• Prepare and administer Plant Safety Budgets.

Prepare and present various MIS/ reports in Samvaad.

Success Criteria for the Position:

• Ensure full compliance with regulatory agencies, company environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures and practices.
• Ability to take necessary steps to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
• Strengthening of work permit system.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with Executives, Managers, Supervisors and employees.
