As Lead/Sr. QA you will play a pivotal role for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products/Applications. Create and execute test cases, identify and report defects, perform testing, participate in test planning, and collaborate with development teams.
Responsibilities:
Test website applications to ensure they meet quality standards for clients.
Identify defects & bugs and work with developers to resolve them.
Create test cases based on user stories and requirements.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure software meets user requirements and is delivered on time.
Perform regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for products
Develop and maintain testing infrastructure in the team for efficient testing.
Write detailed test reports and performance analyses for the product.
Participate in the complete software development life cycle for new products.
Communicate with operations team to gather and understand the requirements.
Requirements: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent. 5+ years of relevant project experience in Manual testing is required. Experience with bug-tracking systems such as JIRA. Expertise in any test management tools, TestLink would be preferred. A basic understanding of web technologies such as .NET(optional), HTML. Good understanding of SQL and API Testing using Postman. Attention to detail, ability to follow test plans and scripts, and good management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment.
Preferred skills Should have some exposure of Agile methodologies. Any QA certifications like ISTQB is a plus. Should have some working knowledge on automation testing.
