Assist in the preparation of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements under the guidance of senior accountants.
Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling bank statements and transactions.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
Assist in the preparation of GST, TDS, and income tax filings, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and financial reports.
Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and documented.
Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis as required.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
Qualifications :
B.Com/BBA/Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
3+yrs work experience as an Accounting Assistant, Junior Accountant, or similar role for 3- 5 years would be advantageous.
Basic understanding of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software Tally and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
