Job Description: Senior HR Manager Zinc Manufacturing Factory (Faridabad)
Position Title: Senior HR Manager
Location: Faridabad Haryana.

Role Overview:
The Senior HR Manager will oversee all human resource operations at a zinc manufacturing factory in Faridabad – Delhi NCR. This role will focus on driving HR initiatives, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering a productive workforce, and aligning HR practices with organizational goals. The role requires strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience in industrial HR management.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Partner with senior management to forecast workforce needs and ensure alignment with operational demands.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Talent Acquisition & Management:

  • Plan and execute recruitment strategies for hiring skilled personnel, including supervisors, technicians, and factory workers (In-house & outsourced).
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and development programs to enhance employee capabilities.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as the point of contact for resolving employee grievances and disputes.
  • Foster a harmonious work environment by promoting employee engagement initiatives.
  • Build strong relations with people and ensure effective communication.

Compliance & Labor Laws:

  • Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, including the Factories Act, 1948, and related regulations.
  • Manage payroll, provident fund (PF), gratuity, ESI, and other statutory obligations.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and liaise with government authorities during inspections or audits.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
  • Set KPIs for factory staff and management, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to managers for effective team performance.

Health, Safety, and Welfare:

  • Collaborate with the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) team to promote a safe workplace.
  • Ensure implementation of employee welfare measures such as medical benefits, etc.

HR Operations:

  • Supervise day-to-day HR operations, including attendance, leave management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Manage HR budgets and ensure cost-effective HR operations.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
  • 8+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in the manufacturing or heavy industry sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws and factory compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing large teams and handling unionized environments.

  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution expertise.
