Join us as a Strategic Finance Adviser

We ll look to you to proactively support in providing commercial and financial insights and analysis to help influence key business decisions
You ll be providing input for plans, forecasts and stress scenarios and provide business leads with key themes and analysis

What youll do

As a Strategic Finance Adviser, you ll actively help in compiling business insights and market knowledge to assist the leadership team to make key product, cost and investments specific decisions in conjunction with the business. We ll look to you to own preparation and submissions of monthly financials along with in-depth analysis of cost drivers to senior stakeholders.

In addition, you ll be assisting with the completion of business finance requirements, such as month end requirements, strategic planning, functional reporting requirements and ensuring timely escalation of issues.

You ll also be:

Analysing financial regulatory change impact on products and services
Providing investment tracking and forecasting reviews
Using data and analytics thinking required to solve strategic problems using the latest tools and techniques
Supporting the provision of review in investment decisions and business cases
Collaborating with our Finance teams to provide specific financial plans, forecasts and segment analysis
Supporting the development of customer journey recommendations as well as the development and implementation volumetrics across the business

The skills youll need

To succeed in this role, you ll need good stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate and influence. Along with planning and organisation capabilities, you ll need the ability to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty and risk and work in a flexible environment.

You ll also demonstrate:

Good data analysis and modelling skills
The ability to create and review plans, forecasts, models and stress scenarios
Strategic awareness and
Good finance functional knowledge, accounting knowledge and product area and market segment knowledge
The ability to apply business knowledge, expertise and challenge to support the business
