Associate / Senior Associate - Quality Assurance

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Gather Product requirements (e.g. functionalities, Non Functional requirements)
• Ensure products and procedures meet industry standards
• Develop test environments and test cases for all positive, negative and edge case scenarios
• Review business / software requirements and provide inputs.
• Prepare / review test plans.
• Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.
• Execute tests (manual / automated).
• Report defects and assist in their understanding.
• Prepare and present test reports
• Analyse test results track software testing metrics and root cause.
• Train, mentor and collaborate with junior software engineers and peers. • Find the Root cause for issue and Prepare RCA for Production issue
• Log Monitoring and Analysis for issue prevention
• Experience on Testing Micro service API (Restful) components. knowledge on processing API

Desired Skills and Experience

• • Knowledge of at least one or more programming/ scripting language (Java, Micro Service, Unix and Python)
• Knowledge of at least one database management system (RDBMS / NoSQL)
• Knowledge and experience in Automation testing using Selenium, API Automation and Open Source tools like JMeter, TestNG, Rest Assured, Cucumber BDD, Jenkins, GIT.
• Experience in customizing existing Automation framework.
• Previous experience as a Test Engineer / Sr Test Engineer or similar role
• Familiarity with various testing techniques (Functional, E2E, Integration, UAT, etch)
• Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Great troubleshooting skills and Analytical mind-set.
• Good written and oral communication
• Minimum 2/3+ Years of Experience.
• Payment systems Domain Knowledge
• Ticketing tool experience like JIRA / Service Now / Service Desk .
• Education - MCA/ Mtech/ BCA/ Bsc IT/ CS/ Btech/BE.
