Cyber Threat Hunter

Location: Delhi

Skills, Role & Responsibilities:

• Active hunting for IOCs across the network, endpoints, and other digital assets, to identify and investigate potential threats.
• Monitoring of dark web forums, marketplaces, and other sources to identify threats relevant to the organization, including data breaches, credential dumps, and emerging attack vectors.
• Analysing and correlating data from various sources to identify patterns, TTPs, and trends in cyber threats.
• Collaborating with the incident response team to provide actionable intelligence during security incidents, assist in containment, and conduct post-incident analysis.
• Preparing detailed reports on threat hunting activities, findings, and recommendations.
• Utilizing SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence platforms, and other cybersecurity tools to support threat hunting activities.
• Continuously refine and develop threat hunting methodologies, stay informed on the latest cyber threat landscape, and contribute to the overall threat intelligence strategy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (Candidate having graduation/Post graduation in Engineering/Science/Technology or MBA or doctorate in relevant field would be given added advantage).
• Relevant certifications (GIAC GCIH, CEH, OSCP) are highly desirable.
• Minimum 3-5 years of fulltime experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat hunting, incident response, or SOC operations.
• Proficiency in threat hunting tools and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms, EDR tools, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with dark web monitoring tools and techniques.
• Understanding of network protocols, log analysis, and forensic investigation.
• Deep understanding of the cyber threat landscape, including malware analysis, TTPs, IOCs, and attack vectors.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify meaningful patterns and anomalies.
