About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Online Sales Head to drive the growth and profitability of our digital sales channels. This role will be responsible for developing and executing online sales strategies, optimizing the customer journey, and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving e-commerce sales, digital marketing, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive online sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Drive end-to-end management of all the online sales channels, including the brand's e-commerce website, marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Zepto), and emerging platforms.
- Identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities in e-commerce, including marketplaces, brand websites, and social commerce platforms.
- Ensure smooth integration and operations across all online sales channels.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns, promotions, and digital advertising strategies with sales goals.
- Monitor the sales performance with the clear set KPIs
- Optimize spend on performance marketing channels, and affiliate partnerships.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory forecasting and on-time fulfilment.
- Build and mentor a high-performing online sales team, including category managers and data analysts.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in driving e-commerce sales function
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated success & expertise in driving revenue growth and scaling e-commerce business
- Strong understanding of online sales funnels, digital marketing strategies, and conversion optimization
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, and advertising platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions and outcomes.
