Program Manager Senior Specialist

At Nasdaq, We are seeking a skilled and innovative Project Manager to join our Program Management Office within the Enterprise Applications and Insights team. As a Project Manager, you will be key in delivering complex technology initiatives of varying sizes for internal stakeholders and providing concise updates and insights for executive leadership. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing Nasdaq s web properties and corporate systems to drive sustainable growth and innovation throughout the organization.

This role will be pivotal in driving key strategic programs, providing high-level oversight and guidance for projects, and driving innovation, collaboration, and effectiveness across the organization

• Lead, plan, monitor, and coordinate large projects independently to ensure client and internal customer happiness.
• Apply and lead resources effectively, coordinating with stakeholders and colleagues to meet project objectives.
• Ensure project plan obligations are met regarding specifications, quality, costs, and timeframes.
• Lead IT projects such as systems integration, systems architecture, new product development, or custom systems development using established Project Management methodologies.
• Deliver project management responsibilities within a matrix environment, simultaneously balancing multiple projects of varying complexity.
• Optimally and concisely connect with executives, senior leaders, stakeholders, and team members.
• Assist in reviewing new SaaS application requests and lead the governance process, including facilitating conversations with committee members, SMEs, interested parties, and technology teams.
• Run the SaaS application governance committee with other team members, handling newsletters and communications across process and program management activities.
• Provide strategic insights to senior management and improve process consistency, execution, and risk identification and reduction.
  

• Education Required: Bachelor s degree or Master s degree
• Experience Required: At least 5-8 years of project management experience
• Special Qualifications: Formal Project Management certification.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in IT projects and strategic program oversight.
• Strategic communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the company.
• Experience in managing resources and coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results according to standards.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and how to apply them using Jira to eimproveproject execution and delivery.
• Ability to coordinate and facilitate Agile roadmap planning sessions, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on project goals and timelines.

• Ability to build reports and dashboards on business intelligence applications and Jira.
• Experience participating in Scrum or Kanban teams
