Purchase Engineer (Techno Commercial)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage purchase activities for blast furnace operations, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and equipment.
  Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate prices, improve quality, and reduce costs.
• Plan procurement requirements based on production schedules to minimize stockouts or overstocking.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of purchasing decisions.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize storage space usage.

ELIGIBITY

• Minimum Experience of 5 Years in iron & steel industry.
• Must Have experience in procurement of blast furnace

QUALIFICATION:

• B.TECH in Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical Engineering
• MBA in procurement /supply chain is a plus.
