Deputy Manager - Ecommerce

Key Responsibilities:

• E-Commerce Strategy: Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy to drive traffic, improve sales conversion, and optimize customer retention across various platforms.
• Website Management: Oversee day-to-day management of the companys e-commerce website, ensuring the site is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
• Product Listings & Inventory: Manage the product catalog, ensuring accurate product descriptions, high-quality images, and proper categorization. Work with inventory teams to ensure availability and timely updates of stock levels.
• Sales & Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales revenue, website traffic, conversion rates, and average order value. Utilize data to generate insights and inform decision-making for continuous improvement.
• Digital Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to implement digital marketing campaigns, including paid search, social media, SEO/SEM, and email marketing, to drive qualified traffic and sales.
• Customer Experience & Support: Ensure a positive user experience (UX) on the e-commerce platform, focusing on ease of navigation, checkout process, and customer service. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Order Fulfillment & Logistics: Work closely with logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, timely delivery, and effective management of returns.
• Budget & Forecasting: Manage the e-commerce budget and forecast sales growth, ensuring financial objectives are met or exceeded.
• Stay Current with E-Commerce Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in e-commerce and digital marketing. Propose new features, products, or strategies to stay competitive in the market.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce, with a proven track record of managing online sales and digital marketing campaigns.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.).
• Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) and digital marketing techniques (SEO, PPC, email marketing, etc.).
• Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional project management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CRM tools and email marketing platforms.
• Familiarity with social media marketing and content creation.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles.
