Sr. Production Leader

The position is responsible for leading manufacturing , engineering function and SHE( Reliability) activities for our plant. It will also involve in developing a vision aligned to the Global Supply Chain Strategy for local manufacturing and transfer them to operations to meet goals with reference to quality, cost and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities of the Job:

Operations:

• Uphold the code of business principles at all times and ensure that they are adhered and understood by the team.

• TPM is the continuous and consistent quest to eliminate losses in all processes through active participation by all employees.
• Benchmark our capability and costs with respect to industry standards and market requirements and bring best in class practices.
• 5S Implementation and ingraining the process driven culture.
• Coaching and Leading people with a hands-on” approach.
• Direct the company's manufacturing activities to ensure maximum effectiveness is obtained for the production of quality products within specified time and budgetary guidelines.
• Directs manufacturing engineering efforts to ensure company facilities and equipment are adequately designed, built and maintained. The emphasis will be on robust equipment/processes utilizing poke yoke techniques and quick change over.
• Interface with Development of newly initiating projects in Engineering, warehouse and to coordinate the production process for the introduction of new products and new technologies in the plant in modes automation and industry 4.0
• Alignment of key corporate and regional policies and processes.
• Outstanding Customer satisfaction in an integral part of the culture and responsibility of all employees in the team.
• Problem-Solving skills -must be able to quickly ascertain a situation and be decisive in solving it.

Safety, Quality and Environment

• Ensure compliance to Local statutory and Ecolab corporate standards.

• Strong demonstration of safety culture in plant.

Technical skills:

• University Degree in Production or Mechanical Engineering/ elecritcal engg
• 6-10 years of hands on experience in manufacturing and Industrial engineering in a medium sized industry preferably the chemical industry, and any FMCG manufacturing set up
• Knowledge of local language, Hindi and English.
• Project and Industrial engineering skills and TPM implementation experience in Manufacturing set up.
