Key skills for the job
Duties & Responsibilities: -
-Grow company machinery sales through the existing customer base
- Identify & develop new customer relationships to create incremental business
- Create customer proposals and tenders to generate new business
- Report monthly sales results and KPIs to Sales Manager
- Inputting and maintaining customer data on CRM system
- Take ownership of personal development, including relevant training to continually improve
skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
-participate in the development and execution of the new machines marketing plan
-handling and resolving client queries and complaints
-should have strong payment recovery skills, excellent client interfacing skills and be computer literate
-meet or exceed targets and revenue growth
-stay updated on industry trends, competitor products and market conditions

- Finance tools
- Product Range
- Role - specific product range
- Pricing and positioning
- Competitor Product Range
- Relevant marketplace and its operational challenges
- Health & safety legislation & safe operating practices relevant to the role.

- Ability to create opportunities and prospect for new business
- Ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels
- Ability to demonstrate strong negotiation and closing skills
- Stock management
- Ability to handle objections
- Ability to create and maintain strong customer relationships
- Developing an effective sales plan and methods of identifying growth opportunities in a territory
- Effective use of CRM systems to support the sales process.
