Manager- Billing (Real Estate)

Key Responsibilities

1. Bill Verification and Documentation:
• Verify bills and invoices for accuracy, ensuring all required documentation is attached.
• Cross-check tax deductions (TDS), GST charges, and the correctness of entity names.
• Ensure the inclusion of work completion certificates, contracts, LOIs, and other management-approved documents.
2. ERP System Updates:
• Update and maintain bills in the ERP system according to the authority chart.
• Conduct manual and ERP-based bill checking for precision and accuracy.
3. Approvals and Coordination:
• Prepare bills for checking in ERP software and obtain necessary approvals, including from management when required.
• Forward approved bills to the accounts department for timely payment processing.
4. Compliance and Scrutiny:
• Scrutinize invoices against advance amounts paid or to be paid.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and financial standards.
5. Records and Reporting:
• Maintain an updated register of pending bills.
• Prepare and organize all supporting documents in the prescribed formats for administrative and audit purposes.
6. Inter-Departmental Coordination:
• Coordinate with departments including purchase, consultancy, legal, marketing, admin, HR, and taxation for bill-related queries and approvals.
• Work collaboratively with the accounts and finance teams to streamline processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience in billing, documentation, or accounts payable roles.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and other financial regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication skills for vendor and inter-departmental coordination.
