Job Description :

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable, high-performance e-commerce solutions using the Elastic Path platform.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define functional and technical requirements.

- Lead design sessions and provide technical leadership to development teams.

- Develop and implement microservices architecture using Java and Spring Boot.

- Work on integrating Elastic Path with third-party systems and ensure smooth integration with various platforms (payment gateways, ERP systems, etc.).

- Apply best practices and ensure efficient development processes for system design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.

- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure product quality and adherence to development standards.

- Work in an agile environment, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and features.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in e-commerce, Elastic Path, and related tools.

- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, with significant expertise in designing and developing e-commerce solutions.

- Strong experience with the Elastic Path platform, including working with its APIs, integrations, and configurations.

- Advanced knowledge of Java, including building scalable applications using Java technologies.

- Proficiency in using Spring Boot for developing microservices-based architectures.

- In-depth understanding of microservices design, development, and deployment.

- Experience in working within the e-commerce domain, including knowledge of e-commerce workflows, customer-facing features, and back-end systems.

- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices for seamless deployment.

- Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and integration with Java-based applications.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality solutions.

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with Elastic Path Commerce (EP) specific integrations, APIs, and architecture.

- Expertise in e-commerce platforms and understanding of best practices in the e-commerce domain.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
