About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Frontend Developer to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our user-facing web applications.

You will be responsible for leading the frontend development team, driving technical decisions, ensuring code quality, and delivering exceptional user experiences. This position requires a deep understanding of modern frontend technologies, strong leadership skills, and a passion for building high-performance, scalable, and maintainable applications.

Responsibilities :

- Technical Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and fostering a culture of learning and growth.

- Architecture and Design : Contribute to the architecture and design of our frontend platform, making key decisions about technology choices, frameworks, and development processes.

- Development and Implementation : Lead the development and implementation of complex UI features and interactions using modern JavaScript frameworks (i.e., React, Angular, Vue.js - specify preferred framework). Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.

- Code Quality and Best Practices : Enforce coding standards, best practices, and code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.

- Performance Optimization : Identify and implement performance optimization strategies to ensure our applications are fast, responsive, and scalable.

- Collaboration : Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products. Project Planning and Execution : Contribute to project planning, estimation, and execution. Help the team meet deadlines and deliver projects on time and within budget.

- Technology Evaluation : Research and evaluate new frontend technologies and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

- Problem Solving : Troubleshoot and debug complex frontend issues, providing solutions and guidance to the team.-

- Mentorship and Training : Mentor and train junior developers, sharing your knowledge and expertise.

- Documentation : Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 3+ years (or specify desired range) of proven experience as a Frontend Developer, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

- Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), including asynchronous programming, closures, and prototypal inheritance.

- Strong proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js - specify preferred framework).

- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

- Experience with state management libraries (i.e., Redux, MobX, Vuex).

- Familiarity with testing frameworks (i.e., Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Selenium).

- Experience with build tools (i.e., Webpack, Parcel).

- Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication,1 interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR).

- Experience with TypeScript.

- Knowledge of accessibility best practices.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Contributions to open-source projects.

- Experience with design systems and component libraries.

- Knowledge of UI/UX principles.
