Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP ECC (ERP Central Component) and possess in-depth knowledge of SAP TM modules. This role requires a professional who can analyze business requirements, design and implement solutions, and provide ongoing support to ensure seamless transportation management operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze transportation management requirements.
• Conduct workshops and interviews to understand client needs and translate them into functional specifications.

1. Solution Design and Configuration:

• Design and configure SAP TM (ECC) modules to meet business requirements.
• Customize SAP TM functionalities including transportation planning, scheduling, carrier selection, and freight costing.
• Develop and implement end-to-end transportation processes, ensuring integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, LE).

1. Implementation and Deployment:

• Lead and participate in SAP TM implementation projects, including system setup, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting to resolve any issues.

1. Integration and Interfaces:

• Design and implement integration solutions between SAP TM and other systems (e.g., third-party logistics providers, EDI interfaces).
• Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between SAP TM and other SAP modules.

1. User Training and Documentation:

• Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.
• Create comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, configuration guides, test scripts, and user manuals.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the SAP TM landscape.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP TM functionalities and enhancements, and recommend best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4-10 years of experience in SAP TM (ECC) functional consulting.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP TM modules and related business processes.
• Proven experience in SAP TM configuration, implementation, and support.
• Strong understanding of logistics and transportation management principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business requirements.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• SAP TM certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA TM.
• Knowledge of SAP ABAP for troubleshooting and minor enhancements.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
• Experience in global or multi-national SAP TM implementations.
