Sap Ewm Functional Consultant (Labor Management)

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth workshops with business stakeholders to understand existing business processes.

- Document As-Is processes comprehensively.

- Prepare To-Be process designs and conduct thorough fit-gap analysis.

- Maintain real-time, version-controlled project documentation.

- Develop and update configuration plans and documents as per project requirements.

- Prepare WRICEF (custom object) list and functional specification documents.

- Coordinate with development teams (ABAP, Fiori, PI/CPI) to ensure timely completion of

developments.

- Prepare interface mapping sheets for seamless integration with 3rd party applications, if

applicable.

- Prepare data migration templates, assist business in data collection, and ensure data accuracy.

- Perform Master Data Migration across different environments as per project needs.

- Provide post-go-live support/hyper care, resolving issues and defects promptly.

- Prepare comprehensive User Manuals and Standard Operating Procedures.

- Perform cutover activities as required, ensuring a smooth transition.

- Maintain detailed status trackers and provide regular updates to project managers.

- Record and document all issues/defects during hyper care and ensure timely closure.

- Prepare handover documents and facilitate knowledge transfer to the regular Support Team.

- As an EWM architect, develops training materials and conducts training sessions to end users and support teams. They also create and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides, user manuals, and best practices documentation.

-The EWM architect keeps up to date with the latest trends and advancements in EWM technology and warehouse management practices. They should continuously improve their skills and knowledge to provide innovative and efficient solutions to the organization.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate in B.Tech / B.E. in Any Specialization, or Postgraduate in Any Specialization, BCA, BSc, MCA in Computers, MBA/PGDM in Any Specialization.

Experience:

10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)

implementation projects, with specific expertise in inbound/outbound processes, cross-docking,

labour management, VAS, RF solutions, and material flow systems.

Able to work as an individual contributor for both SAP S/4 HANA and decentralized system.

Skills and Abilities:

- Proficiency in SAP EWM modules, with a focus on inbound/outbound processes, replenishment

strategies, cross-docking, labour management, VAS, RF solutions, and material flow systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
