Senior Engineer-Production

We are seeking a Senior Production Engineer to lead and optimize production processes in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production engineering, plant management, machinery installation, and process improvements, particularly in the packaging industry. This role involves overseeing daily production activities, ensuring quality standards, managing manpower, and driving product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning: Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities to meet delivery schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Machine Installation & Testing: Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning of advanced production machinery, including extrusion plastic bubble guard sheet lines, duplex-bubble guard plants, and other specialized equipment.
• Manpower Management: Supervise and allocate manpower effectively to optimize team performance while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
• ERP Systems Management: Implement and maintain ERP systems to track and report on production metrics, helping streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• New Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive new product development initiatives and deliver innovative solutions to the market.
• Process Improvement: Continuously monitor production metrics and execute strategies for improving efficiency, reducing downtime, and maintaining operational excellence.
• Plant Operations Oversight: Oversee plant operations, including material handling, preventive maintenance, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in production engineering roles, with hands-on expertise in machinery and plant management.
• Proven track record in production planning, manpower management, and ERP system implementation.
• Technical Skills:
• Hands-on experience with advanced production equipment such as bubble film lines, hydraulic press machines, and digital cutting systems.
• Familiarity with international machinery brands like COLINES S.p.A. Group, Wegner SC-2, IECHO systems, and BOPP Film lines.
• Proficiency in production planning, material handling, and ERP systems.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage teams and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to drive process improvements and achieve production milestones.
