Position: Head - Markets, Branding and Communications
Location: Mumbai
Job Type: Full-time
Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer
Position overview: The Head of Markets, Branding, and Communications will lead and execute the Firm's strategies in market insights, brand management, and communication efforts. This position will work closely with senior leadership to enhance the Firm's brand presence and ensure consistent, impactful messaging across various platforms. The role requires a data-driven, strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a passion for branding and communication in a fast-evolving market landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Insights:
- Strategic Analysis: Lead the development and implementation of market intelligence strategies to analyze market trends and client needs in the tax advisory space.
- Data Management: Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of relevant market data to inform decision-making at all levels of the firm.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular assessments of the competitive landscape and provide insights to shape strategic direction and identify business development opportunities.
Branding:
- Brand Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive branding strategy to strengthen Firms position in the market.
- Brand Messaging: Ensure consistent, clear, and compelling brand messaging across all touchpoints, both internally and externally.
- Brand Identity: Maintain and evolve the Firms brand identity, ensuring alignment with organizational values, vision, and market positioning.
Communications:
- Internal Communication: Manage internal communication strategies to ensure alignment, employee engagement, and effective information dissemination across the Firm.
- External Communication: Oversee the Firms external communication efforts, including press releases, thought leadership pieces, and media relations.
- Public Relations: Work with the PR agency to cultivate and manage relationships with key media houses and influencers to increase brand visibility and thought leadership recognition.
- Content Development: Lead the creation of high-quality content, including articles/publications and blogs in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Crisis Communications: Develop and implement a crisis communication plan to protect the Firm's reputation during sensitive situations.
Team Leadership:
- Leadership: Lead and mentor the team and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with leadership and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and aligned messaging across the Firm.
Qualifications:
Education: A Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field will be preferred.
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in market intelligence, branding, and corporate communications
- Proven track record of leading successful brand and communication strategies.
Skills:
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling narratives.
- Advanced proficiency in digital marketing, content creation, and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with media relations, public relations, and crisis management.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Leadership experience with a focus on mentoring and team development.
