Job Description
- 3-7 years- experience in the video domain
- Strongly self-motivated, good communication skills and should be a quick learner
- Multi-threaded, multi-core software programming skills
- Strong C/C++ coding skills and OO design
- Hands-on with using or integrating to lAkamai, Limelight, Azure, CloudFront, etc CDNs
- In-depth knowledge and practical application of IPTV, Video conferencing technologies, real-time video applications.
- Good C C++, multi-threading and OS concepts Mandatory
- Linux Operating system (Kernel) Mandatory
- Good understanding of Networking, IP/TCP/UDP protocols
- Experience on working with Video codecs development and/or integration (H.263, H.264/AVC, HEVC, vp8/vp9 etc.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of RTP/RTCP/UPD/ HLS/ Webrtc protocol
- Experience in Adaptive Communication Environment (ACE) framework is a plus
- Good experience on using and integrating with relevant Open source technologies (Gstreamer, FFmpeg etc)
- Bandwidth Management for Video Traffic
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills using network analysis tools such as WireShark, etc
- Broad scripting experience is preferable (Bash, Perl, Python)
