Responsibilities:
- Lead the project from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical personnel
- Ensure projects comply with relevant banking regulations and risk policies
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and address project-related issues
- Oversee project performance, monitoring KPIs and adjusting project scope as necessary
- Manage relationships with vendors and integrate third-party services effectively
- Conduct detailed post-implementation reviews to assess system effectiveness and capture lessons learned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of project management experience in the banking or financial services industry
- Proven track record with AI-driven financial solutions, loan origination systems, OCR technology, and workflow automation
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies are highly desirable
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and risk assessment
- Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the banking sector
Key Skills:
- Strong proficiency in English
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities
- Capable of rigorous adherence to PNG time zone requirements for coordination
