Manager-Process Engineer (NPD)- Aerospace

We are seeking an experienced Manager-Process Engineer with a robust background in precision machining for the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in VMC, HMC, and 5-axis machining processes, and have a thorough understanding of machining various materials, including hard metals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage precision machining processes including VMC, HMC, and 5-axis machining.
• Select appropriate cutting tools for both hard and soft metals.
• Develop and maintain process documentation for the aerospace manufacturing industry, including APQP, PFD, PFMEA, FAI, DFAI, and MOS.
• Design conceptual fixtures for machining processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Utilize Mastercam and CATIA for machining processes and design when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 to 13 years of experience in precision machining.
• Proven expertise in machining processes and selecting cutting tools for various materials.
• In-depth knowledge of machining materials such as Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Inconel.
• Strong experience with process documentation for aerospace manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Mastercam and CATIA is a plus.
